cafv’s battering intervention & prevention program (bipp) will help you identify the qualities of a healthy relationship. if you feel like you are unable to sustain a healthy, non-violent relationship with your partner or your family bipp can help. bipp will provide you with counseling to give you the tools to become an individual that respects, supports and trusts your partner and a person that creates a safe and healthy environment for your family.
have you ever made your partner feel guilty?
are your children afraid of you?
when you have a bad day does everyone know?
have you pressured your partner to have sex?
have you called your partner names or put them down during an argument?
if you answered yes to any of these questions or if you are abusive - physically, sexually, verbally or emotionally - towards an intimate partner - spouse, girlfriend/boyfriend or family member you should consider entering bipp. no one is beyond help.
our primary goal is to ensure the safety of your partner and your family, in addition to reducing the abusive behavior. bipp will challenge you to examine your behavior and recognize that domestic violence is illegal and a choice.
