The Office of the El Paso District Attorney partners with cafv, MADD and WTCSCD to present the Samantha K. Rodman Case Study! Join us for the full three hour training.  Make plans to join us on Friday July 30th from 11am-2p for this dynamic presentation!

Lunch and Learn is a perfect opportunity for crime victim service providers to review the criminal case investigation and prosecution process in our own community.  We will review the case of a local teenager, Samantha Rodman, who murdered her mother, on November 29, 2004 in El Paso, TX.  The defendant pleaded guilty and an El Paso Jury sentenced her to 40 years in prison.

Assistant District Attorney John Briggs will discuss the intricacies of prosecuting this case.

Sally Madrid, Victim Advocate will highlight the obstacles encountered in providing victim services.

District Attorney Jaime Esparza will conclude the training session with an overview of the criminal justice system.

Continuing Educational Units (CEU's), Texas Commision on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) and License Professional Counselor (LPC) credits available.

$10.00 per person includes training, lunch, and continuing education credits.
